Happy 244th Birthday, #Tucson! The people, the food, the art community, the weather, and the beautiful surrounding landscapes are only just a few reasons I love calling Tucson my home. I’ve lived here for 10 years now and have enjoyed it immensely. Swipe left to see some of my favorite recent shots of our itty bitty downtown that seems to be growing fast.
I love our beautiful and colorful city. #tucson will always have a special place in my heart. ⠀ EXIF - Single Exposure ⠀ Camera: Canon 6D Lens: Canon 70-200 f/7.1 Shutter: 1/200 ISO: 400 ⠀ Big thanks to John at @tucsoncamerarepair for an excellent job cleaning my dirty camera sensors. I would’ve had to spend 5-10 minutes cleaning those pesky dots off my photos if it wasn’t for him. If you live in Tucson, make sure to visit him for all your camera needs!
I’m excited for our Iceland Chasing Light photography workshop this November! @thorphotographytours and I are taking 10 guests on an incredible 10-day adventure as we photograph some of Iceland’s best locations! We’ve had a very lucky streak with aurora on our past workshops so there’s a good chance you’ll see them if you join us 💫 link in bio for more info! Keep an eye out for 2020 tours! Swipe left for full pano!
A new panoramic of an amazing sunset at Picacho Peak just a couple weeks ago. This was by far one of the best sunsets I’ve seen this summer and at this location in general. Im really glad Monsoon is finally here because I’ve been getting some new content I’m proud of! ⠀ Are you interested in joining me on an adventure? Monsoon Photography Workshops are available all summer long! ⠀ EXIF - Single Exposures (9 shot panoramic) ⠀ Camera: Canon 6D Lens: Canon 70-200 f/7.1 Shutter: 1/200 ISO: 400
I’m shaking with excitement right now! I just captured my first lightning strike with my @djiglobal drone moments ago over Tucson and I couldn’t be more stoked! Swipe left to see the full image. ⠀ EXIF - Single Exposure ⠀ Camera: DJI Mavic Pro 2 Shutter: 2 seconds f/7.1 ISO: 100
A collection of timelapse clips I shot storm chasing Tuesday afternoon.
Milkyway shining over Sedona, Arizona. Where is your favorite place to stargaze in AZ?
A year ago today I witnessed one of the coolest weather phenomenons monsoon offers. Swipe right and check me IG story to see all the videos and how excited I was. I was shocked I even captured it because I was down in Tucson capturing lightning and had to drive an hour to get in front of the wall of dust. I didn’t think I was gonna make it after pulling over a couple times. Such an incredible sight to see! I can’t wait for more this summer. Consider joining me on a workshop if you want in on the fun!
We still have a few open seats for our Monsoon Photography Workshop July 19-21st! Join monsoon legend @johnsirlin and I as we chase and photograph some incredible weather such as lightning, dust storms, rainbows, and beautiful sunsets. More information and registration is on my website! Link in bio.
Gorgeous sunset in Tucson this evening! Bring on the epic Monsoon sunsets 🙌🏼
